The Dollar General Is Selling CBD | Now That’s Gotta Be Some Quality Sh**

The dollar general has introduced CBD to 1100 of there stores in Tennessee and Kentucky

Welcome Back to Hempy & Healthy were we bring you the latest CBD News & Health Education.

So I was scrolling through the CBD subreddit and I saw this little shot of dollar general with a caption above it that said “Dollar General is planning on selling CBD”.

First thing that ran through my head… WTF!

I mean if they can do it. Cool.. but how?

Ok I am not dogging on the dollar general, I am not a frequent shopper at the bargain establishment but I have purchased things from there.

Toys for my son | Toys for my niece | a rubix cube for me…

Now I went ahead and read a few articles about this move the dollar general is making to put bullshit on their shelves and call it CBD, I mean to put CBD on their shelves and call it CBD.

I mean I have the highest hopes that the products will be legitimate I just don’t think they’ll be, so yea….

According to the Chief Merchandising Officer of dollar general, their goal is to sell CBD on a budget.

In CMO Jason Reisers words – “Our decision to offer CBD products is based on customer interests or demands”

Apparently the big DG, thats dollar general for short has strong ambitions to win over more low-end consumers by adding a broader mix of food and CBD products to their stores… yikes.

They plan on Expanding CBD in spring of 2020 to Colorado, Florida, Indiana, Oregon, South Carolina, Texas and Vermont. Their product line right now is limited to topicals, ointments, bath bombs, bath salts and face masks and the pricing is between.. Brace yourselves $7 – 20 big buckaroos..  Yea that’s gonna be some quality shit.

So after reading all of this as well as many entertaining reddit comments I decided that this both good and bad.

Probably more bad than good but I am going to try to be optimistic here.

The GOOD

So why do I think this has some benefits to it, well more attention on CBD. More people learning that CBD is a thing, kinda like when all of the sudden everyone was eating quinua and Kale.. like that shit came out of nowhere.

Anyways, I do think it is a good thing that CBD will become a more well known thing.

The BAD

Everyone one tries the CBD from the dollar general is most likely going to be getting – pardon my language – a shit product.

I am not saying that the products won’t have CBD in them, I mean maybe a little bit.. No I am saying that they will more than likely have such a small amount of CBD in them that you won’t gain any benefits from using them.

Now what the really bad part is, these people that have tried this DG CBD are most likely going to be thinking, “Hey, this cbd shit is a waste of money, let me make sure to tell all my friends never to waste their money on it”

Ok well that was more or less how I feel about this latest story in our CBD spot in the news. If you guys liked this article leave a comment and let me know.
